Suspects Arrested in Ariel Crash; Baby Still Critical

The Spokesperson's Office of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced, Friday morning, that eight residents of the Samarian (Shomron) Arab village of Heres and two from Kefel Harath were arrested, Thursday evening on suspicion of throwing the rocks that broke the windows of an Egged bus and led to a collision between a private vehicle and a truck at the Gitai Avisar Junction, next to the western Samarian city of Ariel. The quick gathering of precise intelligence was credited in the arrest operation by soldiers, police and the Shabak Israel Security Agency.

Doctors at Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva continued to fight, Friday morning, to save the life of Adelle Biton of Yakir, who was critically injured in the collision. Her mother suffered moderate to serious injuries and two of her sisters - Na'ama and Avigail - suffered moderate injuries. A third sister was not in the car at the time of the incident. The public is asked to pray for the recovery of Adelle bat Edva.
