Sharav heatwave conditions are forecast for most of the country on Friday under hazy skies. Southerly winds up to 45 kilometers/29 miles an hour in the south will make for sandstorms there. On Shabbat there will be a significant drop in temperatures and a gradual settling of the haze. Additional cooling on Sunday will bring temperatures below normal with strong winds throughout the country. Scattered showers are expected in the north and center of the country with a chance of thunderstorms in the north and a chance of light showers in the northern Negev. There's a chance of isolated light rain on Monday morning; otherwise partly cloudy and slightly warmer.
