The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.5301, up .138 percent, while 100 Japanese yen fell .402 percent to 3.836 shekels. The Australian dollar advanced .598 percent to 3.8327 shekels while its Canadian counterpart was fixed at NIS 3.6065, up .144 percent, and the South African rand gained an eight of a percent to .401 shekels. The Swedish krona dived 1.142 percent to NIS .5712, while the Norwegian krone was set at .6362 shekels, down 1.119 percent.
