The EU has announced it is closely monitoring the deteriorating condition of PA prisoners held in Israel who are on a hunger strike.

EU FM Catherine Ashton wrote senior PA member Saeb Erekat she is in touch on the subject with senior Israeli officials, as reported by MAAN.
