Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is weighing the option of having current Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz be in the running for speaker of the Knesset.

According to Israel Today, the two have discussed the idea recently but have not yet come to a conclusion.

Sources close to Steinitz said he would prefer a ministerial position, but has not ruled out the possibility of becoming speaker.
