Pilots aboard the Air Force helicopter that crashed, Monday evening, did not report any malfunction before they lost contact with air traffic controllers.

The accident occured while the copter was returning from two exercises. An Israel Defense Forces spokesman added that the chopper did not carry much fuel so it did not explode in the air but fell and disintegrated.
