Hundreds of Jews from New York attended on Sunday an aliyah fair organized by Nefesh B'Nefesh in Times Square in Manhattan.
One of the participants was Minister of Communications and Social Affairs, Moshe Kahlon, who spoke to the audience and moved them with his personal story. He told Arutz Sheva after the speech, "I attach great importance to assisting Nefesh B’Nefesh and to meeting Jews who want to make aliyah to Israel. I think the Jews’ place is in Israel, regardless of economic or diplomatic or political calculations. A Jew should be in Israel.”
