Next Tuesday a gathering will be held at Hebrew University to say the traditional Jewish springtime blessing over flowering trees. Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yona Metzger will take part.

Eliezer Shefer, head of the Synagogues Association, explained that the idea is to bring a unique Jewish experience to Hebrew University’s diverse population. The event will include music from Moussa Berlin and his daughter, he noted.
