During the Pillar of Defense counter-terror operation in Gaza in late 2012 many international news outlets ran a picture of a BBC reporter in Gaza wailing in grief over the body of his infant son. The child’s death was blamed on Israel. Now, however, a UNHRC report has found that the child was apparently killed by Hamas. A Hamas rocket which fell short hit a building in Gaza and killed the baby and at least one other person.
