Indictment in ‘Price Tag’ Case

State prosecutors have filed an indictment against Dor Oved, 21, of Mevaseret Tzion, for allegedly doing deliberate property damage motivated by racism. Oved is accused of vandalizing the cars of Palestinian Authority resident Arabs employed in the Israeli town of Shilo during a visit to the area.

He allegedly wrote, “Price Tag” and “Death to Arabs” on cars, smashed some cars’ windows and slashed their tires.

He was caught by police and allegedly resisted arrest by twisting out of one officer’s grasp, and kicking another and calling him “Nazi.” He was found to be carrying two knives and tear gas.
