Coalition negotiating teams held intense talks overnight regarding the final details of an expected agreement between Likud Beytenu, Yesh Atid, and Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home).
Tzipi Livni of Hatnua has already been given the Justice Ministry, and the Foreign Ministry is being saved for Yisrael Beytenu head Avigdor Lieberman. Yair Lapid is expected to hold the Justice Ministry, while Naftali Bennett will serve as Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor.
Tensions are reportedly high within the Likud party as party members wait to see who will get the ministries that remain after Likud makes its deals with other factions. Most of the high-profile ministries will apparently be handed out to other parties, although the Defense Ministry, Education Ministry and Ministry of the Interior may remain with Likud.
