President Shimon Peres said Saturday night that he hopes that Israel will return to negotiations with the Palestinian-Arabs. 

"My hope is that we will return to the peace process which is a desirable process, but only after we hear from the Prime Minister about the government and its plans can I comment on it," Peres said during a visit to France.
