Religious Kibbutz Movement Resumes Matchmaking Efforts

The Religious Kibbutz (Kibbutz Hadati) movement has decided to resume its matchmaking efforts among singles in their 20s and 30s as well as divorces, widows and widowers, within the framework of the movement's social branch. It has been years since the movement's department for connecting singles shut down.

Social-branch manager Amitai Porat said the exact make-up of the program of activities has not been determined, but it will be run in a professional, up-to-date way, including use of the Internet and social networks in addition to activities designed to bring people together. He said the aim is to work closely with similar groups in the religious Zionist stream so that the matches won't be limited to the kibbutz movement.
