Holland's Ministry of Economy and Trade issued a recommendation to Dutch retail chains, Wednesday, to specify if certain Israeli products come from Judea, Samaria (Shomron), eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, according to a Thursday report by the Ha'aretz daily. Under the recommendation, it would be prohibited to mark the products as Israeli and they would have to be marked as from "Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights, East Jerusalem, the West Bank or the Palestinian territories", although no steps would be taken against chains that did not do so. Dutch authorities said they did not support a boycott of these products or products from other parts of Israel.
