Likud Chairman Ze’ev Elkin told Israel Army Radio Thursday morning that if Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid were to waive his party’s demand for the Foreign Affairs portfolio, the government could be established in a matter of hours. “Lapid should accept our offer of the Finance Ministry.”

Yair Lapid made it clear that he has made no such demands or ultimatums of the PM, “The negotiations are not over portfolios, only essential fundamental issues.”
