There was a slight increase in housing prices according to data from the Ministry of Housing. The average price of a unit considered to be a newly built apartment in 2012 decreased 5% compared to last year.

On the other hand, the price of units considered existing dwellings increased by 2%. Overall housing prices in Israel rose last year by 0.5%.
