An 83-year-old man suspected of stabbing his 75-year-old wife to death in their Netanya apartment has confessed to the crime, but claims that he acted in self-defense. 

The stabbing occurred Wednesday morning, apparently after an argument broke out between the two. 

The couple's son-in-law found the woman bleeding in the apartment and called the couple's sons who then called the police.
