Yesh Atid canceled a meeting scheduled for Wednesday with Likud-Beytenu because of disagreement over the number of ministers in the next government. 

Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid insists that the government be limited to 18 ministries, pledging during the elections to avoid the trend of spending public money on ministries created solely to appease coalition partners.

Likud-Beytenu is insistent on having 28 ministries.
