Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced Tuesday that he asked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to stay on as Education Minister. 

"In our political reality I cannot say if I will stay on to serve as minister of education in the next government," he said at a professional conference for those in the education sector, adding, "I want to stay on as Education Minister and said that to Prime Minister Netanyahu as well."
