Officials at Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva confirmed on Tuesday the death of a 3-year-old boy who was injured in a hit-and-run in Rahat. 

The young boy was brought to the hospital by MDA paramedics in critical condition and doctors there were unable to save his life.
