Chairman Naftali Bennett of Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) said, Tuesday morning, that one of the party's demands for joining the government is that coalition funds not be distributed among the parties making up the government. Writing on his Facebook page, Bennett explained that the money, which ranges from one to two billion shekels, can be spent by the parties in the way they see fit, with no regard to the national agenda, adding that the funds are not part of the basic budget but an addition.
Bennett continued, "The state of Israel is in a state of economic emergency. A huge national overdraft has been created. Unless we act quickly we will reach Greece's situation - bankruptcy."
