United Torah Judaism to Labor: Join Coalition

Chairman Yisrael Eichler of the hareidi United Torah Judaism party called on Labor, Sunday evening, to join the government, even if the hareidi parties are not part of the coalition. Interviewed by Kol Yisrael government radio, Rabbi Eichler said his goal was to reduce the harm done to the weak sectors of society and ensure that budget cuts are made with compassion.

Eichler said the next government is going to steal tens of billions of shekels from the poor and transfer them to the rich to strengthen the rule of capital and the media. He charged that hareidi-religious youth are being beaten in the streets because of what he called terrible incitement by Chairmen Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid of the Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) and Yesh Atid parties.
