Israel will resume apple exports to Syria on Tuesday, Reshet Bet reports. The apple exports are expected to continue for several months this year due to an abundance of the fruit.
In total, farmers may export as many as 18,000 tons to Syria.
Last year the apple export to Syria was cancelled due to a shortage in Israel.
