Deputy Minister of Health Yaakov Litzman of the hareidi-religious Yahadut Hatorah (Gimmel) party claimed Sunday that he had offered Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party head Naftali Bennett a deal. Litzman told Kol B’Rama radio that his offer to Bennett included a promise that the hareidi parties would not enter the coalition unless Bayit Yehudi was included as well.
Litzman said the offer was made one month ago, but Bennett has yet to respond.
Litzman has previously been strongly critical of Bennett for what he perceives as an anti-hareidi bias.
