A woman who was a front-seat passenger during a fatal car crash has been sentenced to three months of community service. The woman, a resident of Rehovot, was convicted of assisted neglect of a victim.
She was present when driver Sagi Gamliel hit a man who was crossing the street and killed him. Gamliel, who was drunk at the time of the crash, did not remain to attempt to help the man he hit.
