Partner to Pay Hundreds of Thousands to Cancer Victim

The Partner communications company, parent of the Orange service provider, will pay hundreds of thousands of shekels to a customer who had cancer after talking on cellular phones purchased from the company, according to a Friday-morning report by Yediot Acharonot.

The customer, an attorney in his 50's, filed a lawsuit for millions of shekels three years ago after suffering from lymphoma. He claimed that the growth discovered next to his left ear, was the result of his frequent use of the two phones.
