HaPoel Akko soccer team Coach Shimon Hadari moved to Kibbutz Maayan Baruch eight months ago, and already has the support of 68 secular members to erect a local synagogue. “We feel committed to G-d, and I guarantee you, we will build the synagogue. Prayer, Torah and Tefillin are the fundamental elements of our existence. Fortunately, we have already found a donor, and we recently dedicated a Torah scroll to the Kibbutz. The Torah will be kept in one of the Kibbutz homes until the synagogue is ready.”
