Thursday, Interior Minister Eli Yishai explained on his facebook page that, “it would seem the PM has decided to form a government with the exclusion of Shas. Future decisions on draft of Yeshiva students should be taken without coercion, following negotiations with government partners, to avoid a rift in Israeli society.
“We will continue to serve to nation loyally, even if from the opposition,” concluded Yishai.
