Likud, Jewish Home to Meet, Discuss New Draft Outline

Representatives from Likud-Beytenu and the Jewish Home party's negotiation team will meet Wednesday evening to discuss a draft outline regarding coalition agreements formulated by the Jewish Home with the support of Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid.

According to a report in Israel Today, the apparent outline attempts to bridge the gaps between Lapid and the other parties and requires a limited number of exemptions to be set for yeshiva students, and the hareidim, ensuring that only the top students receive finical aid and benefits for their studies.

Other yeshiva students, according to the outline, will not receive financing or economic benefits for studying Torah, although they will not be enlisted into the army as long as they remain in yeshiva.
