Associate of Slomiansky May Be Involved in Scandal

An associate of the Jewish Home party's MK Nissan Slomiansky, who is the subject of corruption allegations by the Israeli Police's fraud unit who allege that he bought votes in the party's primaries, is also believed to be involved in the scandal.

Police suspect that an associate of Slomiansky was possibly paid to recruit thousands of people to vote for the MK in the primaries.

A witness had previously detailed the alleged bribery and said that "bags of money and cigarettes packets filled with cash" were used to buy votes.
