13 Year-Old Palestinian-Arab Not Shot with Live Ammo

A preliminary investigation by the IDF on Monday evening revealed that the 13-year-old Palestinian-Arab boy who was severely wounded during a riot in the Aida refugee camp was not shot with live ammunition but with a Ruger gun, a sort of last resort method of crowd dispersal.

A high ranking officer on site authorized the firing of the gun to calm rioters who threw grenades, Molotov cocktails and rocks at security forces.
