MK Ofer Shelah of Yesh Atid spoke on Monday about the alliance between his party and the Jewish Home, saying they are not the most natural partners but that the alliance came about as a result of common interests.
In an interview with Channel 10, Shelah said, "It it not healthy that politicians, for whom their futures depend on the decisions of the coalition negotiations, will be partners in these negotiations."
"On the other hand these are decisions we will have to deal with and in places where we need to be partners, we are partners," he added.
"The alliance with the Jewish Home is not natural," said Shelah. "It contradicts the views of one another, but the question revolves around what the understandings will be. If eventually we will find common ground, we will go for it," Shelah said,
