Thousands of people attended a funeral for Arafat Jaradat, a Palestinian Authority resident who died last week in an Israeli prison. The PA has accused Israel of torturing him to death, and the PA-affiliated terrorist group Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades has vowed revenge.
An autopsy conducted in Israel with a PA doctor present did not find a cause of death for Jaradat.
