An Iron Dome counter-rocket defense system will be stationed in the Gush Dan area in central Israel beginning Monday. The system will remain in place for several days.
Iron Dome installations were recently moved to northern Israel in response to the deteriorating situation in Syria, which led to concerns that regional terrorist groups could get their hands on some of Syria’s chemical weapons.
