Security forces in Afghanistan were targeted by Taliban suicide bombers in three separate attacks Sunday.
Four members of the security forces and one civilian were reportedly killed in the attacks.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack in Jalalabad which targeted a building used by the country’s main intelligence agency. Two intelligence agency guards died in the attack.
The terror group also claimed responsibility for the attacj in Logar province, south of Kabul, during which a suicide bomber tried to storm a police post. He was killed by police but was able to detonate his explosive vest.
In what Afghan forces believe to be a coordinated attack in Logar, a suicide bomber detonated himself near a group of police officers, killing one and a civilian, authorities said.
