Tens of Thousands Join National Protest in Bulgaria

Tens of thousands of Bulgarians took to the streets Sunday in a national movement to protest high taxes, corruption a weak economy and austerity measures.

The protesters are demanding economic reform with many accusing the government of corruption, chanting "mafia" and holding signs which read "No mobsters in power" and "send the government to court."

The country's Prime Minister resigned last week amid the protests which began to take a violent turn.
