The Central Bureau of Statistics released figures, Sunday, showing that there were 1,050 traffic accidents with injuries in January, including the roads of Judea and Samaria. Twenty-four fatal accidents resulted in 29 dead and another 108 accidents resulted in serious injuries.
There has been a downward trend of 1.4 percent in the total number of accidents since August, following a .2 percent increase between April and July. The number of people injured went down an average of about one percent a month since March 2011, after going up .3 percent between October 2010 and February 2011.
