Chairwoman Tzipi Livni of the Hatenu'ah Party reacted, Saturday evening, to demands by Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) to re-open her coalition agreement with the Likud Beyteinu party. Interviewed on Channel 2 Television's Pegosh et Ha'itonut (Meet the Media), Livni said, "I will not let the agreement between us and Likud Beyteinu be re-opened and I will fight so that it is not changed." The demand to re-examine the agreement came up on Friday, during coalition talks between Likud Beyteinu and Haybayit Hayehudi.
Earlier Saturday evening, Member of Knesset Yisrael Hasson (Kadima) told Channel 10 Television's Mateh (Headquarters) program, "I promise that one day, if it will be [Habayit Hayehudi Chairman] Naftali Bennett's condition [for joining the coalition], [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu will cancel the agreement." Hasson, whose Kadima party joined the Habayit Hayehudi-Yesh Atid camp at the end of the week, added, "Livni did not win primaries and has not accepted the decision of the voters."
