Clashes in the area of the Samarian Arab village of Kusra, Saturday, started with an Arab assault on the fences of the nearby Jewish community of Esh Kodesh in the Shilo bloc of Binyamin-region Jewish communities, according to the Tatzpit news agency. Esh Kodesh residents reported ten people injured lightly while trying to defend their property.
The Palestinian Authority's Ma'an news agency says the Arabs claim Jews uprooted olive trees and fired live ammunition, wounding a youth in the stomach and another in the leg. Seven were reportedly wounded by rubber bullets. The Israel Defense Forces, who broke up the clash with riot-control measures, said 200 Arabs and 25 Jews took part, with both sides throwing rocks at each other.
