Opposition Group Registers Morsi for Trip in Space

The Egyptian opposition group April 6th Youth Movement said, Thursday, on its Facebook page, that it has entered President Mohammed Morsi in a internet drawing for a trip to outer space. The group called on surfers to vote for Morsi in order to "get rid of him". Calling on surfers to cast their votes, the group said,  "The only people who can lie in such a blatant way and make such false promises are our friends on the moon. This is why the president needs your voice."

The Associated Press reports that April 6th was a driving force behind the ouster of former president Hosni Mubarak and the election of Morsi but has become critical of the current president, accusing him of grabbing power and going back on campaign promises. Morsi supporters say he cannot overcome 29 years of Mubarak rule at once.
