The 450 students of Noam Yeshiva High School in Jerusalem are distributed throughout the capital’s homes for the aged in advance of the merry festival of Purim, equipped with good spirits and lively song and dance for the sheer entertainment of the residents. Student Yochanan Bourt explains, “Our Purim is not a private affair. We have to share the joy of the festival, especially with those who always need a good emotional boost.
Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Simcha Weissman proudly commends his students for “Enhancing and multiplying the joy of their elders across Jerusalem.”
