A 29-year-old resident of Petah Tikva was arrested Tuesday night after threatening on his Facebook page to, "hang Yair Lapid and his friends," just as the Jews in the Purim story hung Haman. 

The man also allegedly attacked the Facebook pages of other MKs and claimed that because of them we must, "remove the Star of David from the flag and replace it…with a swastika."

The police in Petah Tikva viewed the threats as serious and arrested the man. He will appear in a Petah Tikva court on Wednesday.
