Russian President Vladimir Putin and King Abdullah of Jordan met on Tuesday in Moscow.

According to Jordanian television, the two discussed recent developments in the Middle East, efforts to resume negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority and the crisis in Syria. The two leaders emphasized the need to find a political solution to end the violence in Syria and keep the country united.
