U.S. Says Raised Cyber Concerns with Chinese Officials

Following the release of a report Tuesday by a U.S. computer-security firm which alleged that a military group linked to China's army uses thousands of hackers to steal large amounts of data from U.S. companies, Washington issued a statement claiming that the Obama administration has repeatedly voiced concerns to top Chinese government and military officials over the country's involvement in cyber attacks aimed at U.S. companies.

"I can tell you that we have repeatedly raised our concerns at the highest levels about cyber theft with senior Chinese officials including in the military and we will continue to do so," White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters.
