Rubinstein: Increase Police Presence in Polling Places

Chairman Eliyakum Rubinstein of the Central Elections Committee proposed, Tuesday, the installation of cameras and increased police presence in polling places during the next elections. The recommendations follow suspicions of fraud during the recent elections, some of which were exposed by the Ma'ariv daily.

In a report of lessons learned during the last elections, the Supreme Court justice discusses his decision to invalidate a number of Arab precincts and make them the subjects of police investigations, based on the Ma'ariv investigation.
