The head of Hamas’s political bureau, Khaled Mashaal, met on Monday in Istanbul with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The meeting took place as part of a visit by Hamas officials to Turkey. Erodgan and Mashaal reportedly discussed matters related to the reconciliation between Hamas and rival Fatah, as well as other various developments in the region.
