Israeli Arab Indicted for Planning Shooting Attack

The Central District Prosecutor's Office submitted an indictment, Monday morning, to the Kfar Saba Magistrates Court, charging 22-year-old Amir 'Iyan, an Israeli citizen who lives in the Nur-Shams neighborhood of the Samarian (Shomron) Palestinian Authority town of Tulkarm with conspiracy to commit a crime and membership in a prohibited organization.

According to the indictment, 'Iyan conspired with Majdi Malham, following the Pillar of Defense counter-terror campaign in Gaza, to obtain weapons to carry out an attack on members of the Israel Defense Forces.
