Itamar Marks Second Anniversary of Fogel Massacre

Itamar marked the second anniversary of the murder of five members of the Fogel family but laying the cornerstone for the dormitory of a the yeshiva in the Samarian (Shomron) Jewish community.

Participating in the observance was Rabbi Shmuel Eliahu of Tzfat, who said the study hall, built of stones from the Fogel's house, looked to him like the gate of the Temple. The study was named after Ehud “Udi” Fogel, who was murdered, along with his wife Ruth, and three of their six children ages 11, 4, by two terrorists from a nearby Palestinian Authority-controlled village. Three of the family’s children survived the attack.
