The Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party is “not Likud’s lapdog,” a senior party source said Sunday, speaking to Arutz Sheva.
“Since the elections Likud has been pushing us away,” the source accused. “First it was the destructive attacks on our rabbis, then Netanyahu’s behavior and attempts to humiliate us. It wasn’t just chance that he preferred to meet with Tzipi Livni, Shelly Yechimovich and Zahava Gal-On before with the Jewish Home.”
The source said Netanyahu can still turn things around. “Netanyahu could make an agreement to set up a government with us in ten hours if he starts treating religious Zionism seriously,” they stated.
