Former MK Chaim Ramon, a founder of the Hatnua party, attacked Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party head Naftali Bennett on Sunday, claiming that Bennett supports the idea of apartheid in Judea and Samaria.
“Bennett, using Yair Lapid’s power, will make Orit Strook a senior government minister,” Ramon told Army Radio (Galei Tzahal). “That is why this pact is, in my eyes, completely incomprehensible. Bennett wrote a book proposing an apartheid state here: he suggested annexing 60% of the land, and the rest of the Palestinians, three million, would have no rights as citizens. Most of Lapid’s voters do not want that.”
